I am a Serial Remodeler who suffers from “While We’re At It" Syndrome. This serious disorder, though not officially listed in the DSM IV, can be quite crippling when the sufferer does NOT have a project to satiate their urges. This would be the state I currently find myself in as I sit in a housing “holding pattern”.
After finally selling our home in the city (a two year real estate saga), we have decided to rent while we figure out what sort of digs we desire in our new suburban zip code. During my stint in remodeling rehab, I seek solace by trolling favorite home design blogs for inspiration. The downside of this self-imposed “one step program” is that is has spurned a new disorder, Design Schizophrenia. I am now envisioning myself in a mid-century geodesic farmhouse, painted all white and furnished with only recycled objects.
I think I might need to seek a support group.
I encourage you to find your own inspiration at…
This home design “super site” can be seriously addicting with links to
other blogs, resources, pictures of rooms they love and hints on how to steal a
look.
Like
remodelista, this powerhouse design site is packed with products, home tours,
ideas and tips for, “Saving the world, one room at a time.”

curates great style.
A visual treasure trove for the interiors voyeur.
A visual clearinghouse for all the design endeavors and observations of a very talented creative chameleon. The editor of this site recently collaborated on an interiors project with my style crush, Judy Aldridge of Atlantis Home. You can also check out the website for this blogger's creative design studio.
This is the
design company of the family who is now featured on Bravo. Check out “9 by Design” every Tuesday @

into their chaos to live in one of their brilliant spaces. Surely they have room for one
more.
Kellykellykelly,
how I love thee. Kelly Werstler is
the cool girl’s guru. He funky,
edgy, fearless vibe makes me giddy. I would like both her house and her wardrobe.
Another Kelly and one of my all time favorite designers. Hailing from the UK, her take on simple glam is spot on.
